No Bake Version #1:
Mix together 1 cup plain flour, ¼ cup salt, 1 tb oil and whatever colouring you desire. Knead into a dough.
No Bake Version #2:
Mix 2 cups plain flour, 2 tb of Cream of Tartar, 1 cup of Salt. Add the food colouring, 2 tablespoon Oil and 2 cups of BOILING water together, then add to the dry ingredients.
Saucepan Version:
Mix ½ cup Salt, 1 cup Plain Flour, 2 tb Cream of Tartar, 1 cup water, 1 tb oil and food colouring in a saucepan, stir over heat until it forms a dough (or your arms break off)
Edible Version #1:
Mix 1 part flour, 1 part oatmeal and 1 part water.
Edible Version #2:
Mix together 1 jar peanut butter, 6 tablespoons honey and ¾ cup powdered skim milk.
Tips & Tricks:
Coarse cooking salt gives a nice grainy texture. Use glitter for some fun and sparkle. Use juices/spices etc. as colouring (beetroot juice for pink, turmeric for yellow). Store in a resealable bag. Edible versions should be stored in the fridge or not reused.
